To develop a high-speed cloud networking technology a partnership has been formed between Oracle (NYSE:ORCL) and Mellanox (MLNX). In order to develop industry standards for InfiniBand they will utilize their product and drive interoperability between them. The core strategy of Oracle is to deliver the highest performance, security and efficiency by enabling its engineered systems and cloud solutions with open technologies. Super computers are built by using InfiniBand because of its scalability, efficiency and performance. As the interconnect for high performance computing and clouds many customers make the use of InfiniBand. Now, as the InfiniBand is being incorporated with new features and speeds; these customers will still be able to work and choose the suppliers of their like. This was said by Oracle’s senior vice president of Netra and Networking Raju Penumatcha and he also added that the existing InfiniBand infrastructures and the new products will easily integrate. At $40.10, ORCL is more than higher by 1%, while at $48.38; MLNX is also up by 1%.
